5- Koh Samui

Koh samui NY

I specifically chose this Thai island because I had a “coup de coeur” for it during my visit to Thailand. Although it’s one of the largest and most known islands, it has a charming coziness that’s unique to it. It can be anything you want: romantic, adventurous, relaxed and friendly, or wild and loud. The best place to celebrate New Year for me is definitely on a beach bar where you can enjoy the casual and friendly atmosphere of local bars while also having access to the fireworks that happen on any beach.

Flying from Beirut, you’ll have to make 2 stops, one in Doha or Dubai, and the second in Bangkok.

6- Malaysia
